Pune: KPIT Technologies Ltd., a global leader in software integration and mobility solutions, has announced the acquisition of the Engineering Solutions business of Caresoft Global, a renowned name in automotive benchmarking and cost-optimized engineering.
The strategic move is designed to accelerate KPIT’s capabilities across commercial vehicles, off-highway segments, and passenger cars, while fast-tracking its entry into the Chinese mobility market.
Caresoft Global will now operate under three independent verticals – Benchmarking and Cost Optimization Engineering, Engineering Talent Solutions, and Engineering Solutions.
KPIT’s acquisition encompasses the Engineering Solutions business globally, enabling the company to offer a more integrated view of software, hardware, and manufacturing to OEMs navigating a disrupted global supply chain and shifting competitive dynamics.
This acquisition empowers KPIT to:
- Strengthen its footprint in trucks and off-highway segments by leveraging Caresoft Global’s deep client relationships and domain expertise.
- Expand rapidly in China, using Caresoft’s established presence and partnerships with OEMs, NEVs, and key suppliers.
- Deliver full-vehicle cost optimization through Caresoft’s proprietary teardown benchmarks and cost-saving insights for hundreds of global vehicle models.
- Enhance manufacturing engineering capabilities, including industrial engineering, plant layout optimization, and assembly line planning—enabling OEMs to “design it right, the first time.”
